Macro Nature Mobile Photography

During my Christmas vacation, I had headed out to Kerala with the family. To pass time, I decided to take up a photography project to capture elements of nature via the mobile phone I had handy.

The phone I had with me was a Gionee M5, which had manual focus controls in it’s camera application. To capture some of these shots was a test of patience since I had to get very close to these subjects, in fact just a few inches or centimeters away. The flying insects were the trickiest ones, most of them flew away before I could get close enough to capture them.

I was surprised to see that the camera from a mid-range phone was able to capture some beautiful shots.
