Muse Watch – A SmartWatch which doesn’t need charging

That title is a little misleading, but what if I told you that the creators of this hybrid – smartwatch say that this watch runs on a single battery for a full year and a half?

It tracks your daily steps and sleep, notifies you of calls, allows you to controls music on your mobile and more. They also threw in NFC payments and UV detection as additional features in this watch. Wait, there’s more there’s even a feature that allows you to tap a button to trigger an IFTT event which you can use to let’s say turn on the smart lights at home or an IOT enabled rice cooker while you’re heading back home.

The Muse is a hybrid smartwatch which means that it doesn’t have a power-hungry display, all the features are displayed via the dials on the watch. This allows for a much longer lifespan for the onboard battery.

Did I mention that the Muse Watch looks really good? With its luxury styling and leather strap, the watch has a premium feel. The company is launching the watch in a variety of styling options for the dials, watch body and straps.

The straps are interchangeable, so you can snap off that leather strap and put on a silicon strap if you wish. The watch is also waterproof, so you can jump in a pool or with it.

This watch is not yet in the market, but Conzumex has started a Kickstarter project where you can preorder the Muse smartwatch for prices ranging between Rs. 6,500 and 10,000. They expect the first lot of watches to ship out to early backers of the project sometime in November. Their Kickstarter project has already blown past its original funding goal of $ 25,712.

Here are some designs that will be available when the Muse smartwatch ships at the end of the year.
